Are you an artist or would you like to learn a new craft?

There are many opportunities in Amana to learn some folk art skills.

The Arts Guild, located in High Amana offers art workshops throughout the year. Some examples of the unique classes offered are “Creating Mixed Media Collages”, “Book Binding: The Long and Link Stitch”, “Value, Light and Color Pastel”, “Artistic Journal Making”, “Wax On-Wax Off: Explore Textile Printing and Dyeing”. Additionally, there are willow basketry classes as well as beginning quilting and rug weaving – things you won’t find anywhere else!

Each year the offerings are different. You can take these classes for college graduate credit or just for personal enrichment.
