Groups: Large and Small
We host groups
With 15 guest rooms, some with two beds, Die Heimat Country Inn B&B is an ideal place for groups, large or small. If the group is small – under 10 or so – our dining room serves well for a place to gather in the evening, after a day of exploring, for a drink and to chat or play games. Larger groups, rent our Next Door Event Center. There, guests have ample space to eat and play together, have a meeting, work on a craft, or make music and dance together.
Types of Groups
We've hosted business groups, both working and on retreat. We host quilt and craft retreats. We host church groups and spiritual retreats. We host family reunions and class reunions. We host smaller groups like a sisters' or friends' getaway.
This is just a sampling of the many groups that come our way.
Of course, most guests come in twos for a quiet getaway. But the fact that we are larger than most traditional B&Bs means that we can accommodate groups.
What we offer
We welcome all types of groups, large or small. It is our pleasure to get to know guests and to serve the needs they have when they visit. We serve a full hot homemade breakfast to start off their day. We also have a lovely yard, flower gardens, and outdoor seating when weather permits.
We enjoy sharing the history of the Amana Colonies and orienting folks to what they can do and see during their visit. Many come back year after year!

We no longer have access to the Next Door Event Center right beside us. However, there is a community building just down the street with a large meeting room, kitchen, and lawn that serves our guests for group gatherings very well.
