Several months ago one of our guests mentioned that they have an electric car. Therefore, they must plan their travel according to the availability of charging stations. She encouraged us to think about adding one to our property. Well, that is all it took to get Marc thinking and researching. What would it take to put a charging station in our parking lot?

A short time later, I am proud to say, thanks to Marc’s ingenuity and capabilities, we are the first and only complete EV2 charging station in the Amana Colonies. If you have an electric car or if you are thinking of getting one, this will be important to you. If you don’t, maybe it’s time to start thinking about it.

We know that at this point there are not many people who will be using this. But we want to be on the cutting edge and ready for the future floods of people with electric cars. 🙂
