The Amana folks are famous for their high quality handcrafted furniture. Entering their store is entering a high-class place. The furniture is built to last forever. They do custom building for individuals. They also have their own line of styles and products. Since 1855, when arriving in Amana, they’ve made furniture for themselves and generations to come. At the end of the communal era, the furniture shops consolidated into a large shop in Amana. Since then they’ve made items to sell far and wide. The wooden finishes gleam like glass and are soft as silk to the touch. Each piece is individually made by one craftsman – no assembly lines here. It’s beautiful to behold.
