At the end of the communal era, the furniture shops consolidated into a large shop in Amana. Since then they've made items to sell far and wide. The wooden finishes gleam like glass and are soft as silk to the touch. Each piece is individually made by one craftsman - no assembly lines here. It's beautiful to behold.
