Cancellation & Reservation Policy

The Die Heimat Country Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least five (5) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel for any reason with less than five (5) days notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that you will be responsible for the entire reservation amount.

Payment Policy

50% of your reservation will be collected at the time of booking.
The remaining balance will be collected 5 days prior to arrival.

Amenities, room descriptions, and photos are current and accurate only on our official website.

Rates and policies are subject to change and may vary during high-demand periods, holidays, special events, or special requests.

A 60-day cancellation notice is required for whole-house bookings, groups, and certain holidays or special events.

Check-In

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (this is when our doors are unlocked).

Please note that our lobby does not open before 4:00 PM.
Guests arriving early in the Amana area may wish to meet at the Amana Colonies Visitors Center, where tourist information and restrooms are available. Many local shops close around 5:00 PM.

Please plan to arrive at Die Heimat Country Inn during the 4:00–6:00 PM check-in window.

If your travel plans require arrival after 6:00 PM, please call ahead so we can arrange a late self check-in.

Check-Out

11:00 AM

Travel Protection

If you selected the Travel Protection option, you must submit your cancellation or refund request through the link located at the bottom of your confirmation email.

Use the “apply for your refund” form and enter the reference number found in your confirmation email.

Smoking Policy

Absolutely no smoking inside the property.
A designated outdoor smoking area is available for guests.

Pets

No pets or emotional support animals are permitted.

Children

Children may be accommodated in special situations.Please call in advance to make arrangements.
