Our response to Covid 19
Welcome to Die Heimat Country Inn! As always we extend our sincere and warm hospitality to you prior to and during your stay with us. Amid the current challenges of COVID 19, that welcome will not change. Below are some of the changes we are making to assure you of the clean and safe environment we will provide for you. Please be patient as we find our way in a new environment.
Check-In
We have installed Plexiglass around our check-in desk for a no contact check-in.
Breakfast
We will be serving our normal delicious breakfast by the plate, rather than a buffet.
There will be a limit of 14 guests at a time in the dining room with tables spaced 6 feet apart. Guests will only be seated with other persons with whom they have arrived.
We will ask you to pre-schedule a specific time and place for breakfast so that we can accommodate all guests in a safe and timely manner. You will be given the option of a modified take-out breakfast to eat in your room or at a table outside.
Masks
As recommended by the CDC, we and our staff will be wearing masks in all public spaces, for your protection. Likewise, we ask that you bring and wear your favorite mask in public spaces.
Room Service
We are instructing our housekeeping staff to NOT enter guest rooms during your stay. If you need extra supplies, please request and we will bring to your room door.
Housekeeping
We will continue our superior cleaning methods and increase our vigilance in disinfecting all hard contact surfaces in both public spaces as well as in guest rooms.
We have removed all quilts and decorative pillows, for comprehensive laundering.
Hand sanitizer will be readily available at several public stations.

Responding effectively to Covid 19 is a shared responsibility between hosts and guests. We trust that you will do your part to respect others and to show kindness toward fellow travelers. We want you to be able to get away, relax with us and know that all possible precautions have been taken to keep you safe and healthy.
